Tree Felling

Felling is carried out to BS3998 : 2010 Standard, using industry safe techniques and measures to ensure trees com down safely and in a controlled manner. Stumps can be taken to ground level, or left at a decorative height of your choosing.

Crown Raising, Thinning and Reductions

Crown work is offered to re-create or reduce trees of all shapes and sizes to better suit the space and condition for which they are in. AMT Trees is able to reduce the overall size of a crown, raise it to allow for better clearance underneath, as well as thinning to help wind proof prone trees.

Pollarding and Monolithing

Pollarding is a valuable option for trees that may be deteriorating, suffering from crown die-back or have overgrown their space. Both pollarding and monolithing is carried out with the aim of creating a suitable frame for the tree to shoot from.

Storm Damage/Emergency Work

We offer out of hours and emergency call out for all types of storm damage related tree work. This includes: trees fallen on roofing, cabling and road obstructions.

Hedge trimming, topping and laying

Hedge trimming and shaping are great ways to improve the look of your garden. AMT Tree Surgeons have years of experience in all kinds of hedge trimming and shaping, with a keen eye for detail. We take pride in each and every one of the hedges we maintain for our clients year in, year out.

Fruit Tree Pruning

A winter time speciality. This service is offered during the winter period to restore your trees to their fruit-bearing glory. (Excluding plum and cherry trees which are pruned during the summer months).

Logging and Wood Splitting

Wood can be logged up on site to your requirements or size of wood burner. Wood can also be removed from site. We also offer on-site log splitting.

Wood Chipping

AMT Tree Surgeons offer wood chipping as part of our services. Wood chip can be used to line pathways, or once mulched down can be used on flower beds. Chip can either be left on site or removed.
